Rock Doctor

Mark Lewney ‘the rock doctor’ gave a presentation to year 10 in March 2010 explaining the science behind the electric guitar. His talk involved playing his electric guitar to explain the wave patterns on guitar strings, and how sound waves travel to your ear.

His next step was to stretch our minds explaining how waves help us understand the Universe working in 11 dimensions!

Teacher of Mathematics

Friends auction of promises

Thank you to everyone who donated or bought a gift or a promise. We haven't got the final figure yet but, we have raised in the region of £2000. So thank you to everyone.

Friends of ripley painting

The Friends of Ripley School have commissioned this one off painting to raise funds for School. The painting is by ex-pupil and local artist Chas Jacobs, which depicts the Ripley fun run 2006 that is held every year in May. The cost of the print signed by Chas and mounted is £39.50.
